Amethyst - The February Birthstone

Amethyst is the purple variation of quartz.

I don't believe that the stones themselves have any powers. Apart from it's beauty I like wearing amethyst in bracelets and earrings so I can be reminded of my affirmations. Wearing amethyst keeps my positive mindset top of mind. It is my way of thinking that empowers me.

Gems for Resilience and Endurance

You can never have enough bracelets to help you work on your mindset. Each month I decide on a theme and go through my gem book looking for gems that fit the theme. I write out one affirmation for each gem in my journal. I also go to my craft studio and make a pleasing bracelet using the 9 gems I chose.  It's nice to be reminded of positive thoughts as I wear the bracelet.   Tiger eye - Inner strength I am building resilience by facing challenges with courage and strength.
